Minimum passport validity should be 6 months from the date of travel or in the case of Schengen areas minimum 3 months from the date of return to India

Some countries will allow you get visa on arrival like Mexico; while other countries you can apply for an eVisa like Turkey
Can I travel to UK and apply for my Schengen visa there?
No, as per general rule your cannot apply for the visa of a third country in the country where you are travelling as a tourist
Which countries visa do I have to personally appear for submission, bio metrics etc?
Some countries like the UK, personal appearance is mandatory every time you apply for the visa. However, some countries like the Schengen areas, it is mandatory to appear personally once every five years
Is it mandatory to appear for interview for US visa?
If applying for US visa for the first time, interview with the US Visa Officer is mandatory if the age is above 14 years. Or if the previous visa was issued out of India
I am an Indian citizen living abroad. Can I apply for my visa in India?
As per general rule, visa has to be applied in the country of residence irrespective of nationality
What are the basic documents required for a visa?
Passport, photos, bank statement , ITR, hotel bookings, tickets and documents related to occupation
What are the reasons of visa rejections?
Normally visas are not rejected if all documents are in proper order; however, the general reasons for rejection could be related to age, employment status, purpose of travel, incomplete documentation etc
Why do you ask for my financial documents like bank statement and IT Returns?
Financial documents are needed to prove your financial standing to show that you are capable of undertaking the journey and return back to India

Processing time will differ from country to country; for eg: Singapore will take about 5 working days, while Malaysia takes about 3 working days
